Tune into your stress & work through it instantly so that you feel better, cope better & become more present.
This in turn helps you to enjoy each moment in the day & become a calmer & more productive person.
This video series gives you some simple stress strategies that you can implement straight away.
We explore the mind body connection.
In the first video, 'How stress shows up & Stepping back from stress', we deepen our understanding of how stress is actually there to support us. We look at how the physiological body naturally responds to stress & how we are able to work with our body & not against it!
With this knowledge we are able to step back & recognise when we are going into stress mode.
'Your relationship with stress & how it is perceived' challenges you to connect with what is going on in your mind. Ultimately you have choices about how you respond. Watch Video 2 for a way to bring together the mind body connection.
Finally in Video 3 we explore the idea of 'Consistently working to support your wellbeing & What does presence look like?. This video provides some simple strategies to allow you to build a relationship with your stress. We explore how mindfulness & meditation play a big part (PS - meditation is not as difficult as you think it is!).

Simple Stress Strategies was presented live in my Facebook community - The Children's Yoga Academy for Educators - during August 2021 to support early childhood educators who are currently classified as Covid-19 essential workers.
Our early childhood educators are one of our most valuable workforce cohort.
They often spend many hours caring for children in a sector that is underpaid & under acknowledged for the important role they play in our future citizens lives.
Having the ability to move through stress is an important strategy to support wellbeing. Let's make sure you continue to thrive at work & in your personal life so that you show up as the best version of you.
With over 30 years working & collaborating in the early childhood sector & over 20 years of yoga knowledge & training, I decided it was time to integrate my passions because I knew it would make a considerable difference to everyone's wellbeing within the sector.
Hi, I'm Nic Russell & I am an early childhood wellbeing consultant.
I created my business South East Yoga and Wellbeing in 2016 to promote wellbeing after I witnessed first hand young people being disengaged from school due to mental health issues.
After just a couple of sessions of playing with yoga, I saw how they started to feel more comfortable in their bodies & how they actually were having fun.
These defining moments initially lead me on a journey through primary & secondary schools then full circle back to early childhood education.
I want to show you how yoga can impact children's lives so that they grow into positive & happy adults. It all starts in early childhood.
I am here to simplify a wellbeing program for you that is fun & engages everyone in the room.
Yoga Play Programs are holistic & meaningful and my aim is to promote positive wellbeing for everyone within the early childhood sector.
